NEW APPOINTMENT: NIGERIAN INSPIRED RESTAURANT – ‘IKOYI’

We are delighted to announce that we have been appointed to design a new, Nigerian inspired restaurant to be based in central London called IKOYI.

Ikoyi is a first of its kind restaurant concept. It will open for lunch and dinner serving dishes inspired by West African – in particular Nigerian – cuisine, and will be created by development/head chef, Jeremy Chan. Owner, Ire Hassan-Odukale came up with the idea to create cuisine inspired by flavours and dishes he loved whilst growing up in Lagos, Nigeria, and yet still be relevant to his current home. The idea is to create a restaurant in Central London that not only the African Diaspora can relate to, but also one that is relevant to London and Londoners.

Ikoyi is named after a neighbourhood in Lagos, Nigeria, where local life is at its most cosmopolitan.  It’s the combination of a rich cultural heritage and modern international feel that makes Ikoyi so special.

Ikoyi’s key flavours and textures:  spicy, sweet, salty, sour, bitter, smokey, crunchy, smooth
