Foliage AfterVuillard by Alice Neave
Alice Neave’s Dwell explores ideas of refuge, materiality, and quiet transformation through dye on fabric.
Created during a period of personal and creative change, the works are made exclusively with dyes, allowing chance and process to guide each piece. Layers build organically — sometimes dense, sometimes sparse — with figurative elements emerging and dissolving within hazy, fluid mark-making.
Based in London, Neave’s practice is intuitive and material-led, producing works that feel tactile, atmospheric, and deeply connected to notions of shelter and place.
