This project stems from a desire to explore his childhood and construct an understanding of his personal history. Consequently, Kabunda’s personal experiences and memories find expression in a series of deeply sentimental photomontages that narrate aspects of his upbringing.

My fascination with breakfast lies in this reality, the reality that multiple people from all walks of life find stillness within the breakfast ritual.”
