Sylva RowanHook in Aluminium
Inspired by abstract tree forms, the Sylva Rowan Hook is a functional sculptural piece cast in Aluminium. Its name comes from Sylva, an Old English word from the Latin silva, meaning wood or forest.
Each hook is first hand-sculpted in wax, then cast and hand-patinated. The patination process uses layered mixes and heat treatment to create unique colour variations on every piece. A simple, modern hook with natural, organic character.

Aluminium Finish Disclaimer: This hook is made from aluminium. While it will not develop a traditional patina, the surface may darken slightly or develop subtle mottling over time due to natural exposure and use. These changes are normal and part of the material’s inherent character, and are not considered defects.

The backplate is designed to work with a countersunk screw, with a head size less than 10mm. We recommend a pattress behind plasterboard for a secure hold.
