Disa in Lapis

Inspired by the hardy beauty of orchids on South Africa’s Table Mountain, the Disa fabric is a unique textural design crafted from natural viscose. This intricate fabric is woven on jacquard looms using high-density yarns, with each roll taking up to a day to produce to achieve its rich, textured effect. The Disa fabric in Lapis features a fading Lapis blue base, beautifully accented with orange and fern-coloured Disa petals for a lush, understated finish.

This versatile fabric is ideal for accent chairs, small upholstery items like benches and stools, weighty curtains, or as a statement cushion, making it a perfect choice for adding texture and colour to any space.

Introducing Sophie Ashby’s debut fabric capsule, the Jocasta Collection — a curated selection of global fabrics inspired by crafts, flowers, foliage, and ancient traditions from around the world. Manufactured by Yarn Collective, this eclectic collection is available exclusively through Sister by Studio Ashby.
