Firstly, thank you for choosing Sister. Because we are a small team, delivery times may vary (and may not be the lightening speed Amazon Prime delivery we’re used to nowadays). However, when you shop Sister, you are shopping small and unlike us, Amazon doesn’t do a little celebratory dance with each sale.
Each and every piece we ship has been selected, refurbished and packaged with care – and a little whimsy 💫- so please do get in touch if you have any questions at all. We’re here to help. For any ‘cookie cutter’ queriers regarding Delivery, Returns and Refunds, we’ve added some information below:
Calculation of shipping costs vary by weight, size and complexity of each item to package.
For UK mainland delivery, delivery rates are added at checkout.
For International delivery, please contact us by email on email@example.com with: The link of the items you are interested in and the address of the items final destination. We will then obtain a quote from our delivery partner and, once the fee is agreed, we will issue an invoice that can only be paid by bank transfer. Once that’s been paid, your order will be on its way to you!
Where items are to be exported from the United Kingdom, you shall be responsible for complying with any legislation or regulations governing the export from the United Kingdom or the importation into the country of destination of the items and for the payment of any duties therein.
Our returns policy is 7 days from the day the item is shipped and only applied to orders delivered to UK mainland addresses. Any returns requested past this 7 day period unfortunately cannot be refunded. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for further info.
Antique items are sold as seen and described on the website. Imperfections, such as scuffs and chips, are highlighted in the product description, but some signs of use and age are expected with antique or vintage pieces. We do however make every effort to select products with minimal ageing or wear and damage. It is advised that a detailed condition report and further photos are requested prior to purchase for larger items.
We try our best to accurately describe and photograph items, however slight variations can occur. All measurements stated are approximate and colour representation is subject to photographic and publishing processes, however aimed to be in the truest light as possible. Again, if you’re not sure wether an item is one colour or another – simply get in touch and we will send you more photos.
Sister by Studio Ashby Ltd cannot guarantee the future lifespan of previously used or antique goods.
All returns must be in the same condition as that was received, and in original packaging.
The following types of goods are excluded from being refunded:
- Sale items
- Bespoke items
- Items that have been tailored or customised to specific customer requests
- Commissioned items
All returns will require proof of purchase. We do not offer exchanges of products. If the refund is approved, we will refund the cost of the item as below.
Upon receipt of the returned item, we will notify you of whether we are able to approve the refund based on assessment of the product’s condition. If approved, we will process the refund usually within 7-10 business days, to the original method of payment.
This refund will not include shipping or delivery costs related to the original order.
