The Toro Rug

Named after one of Peggy Guggenheim’s beloved dogs, the Toro rug brings a playful energy to the floor.  Its richly textured, short pile is scattered with motifs that evoke flowers and clouds, creating a soft, almost dreamlike landscape beneath the feet. Inspired by the act of looking out through a window or lens, the design plays with the relationship between the natural world and the spaces we inhabit. Despite ‘toro’ being the Italian word for ‘bull’, it’s a rug that provides a soft place to land in lived-in spaces.
