Mayfair Pied-à-Terre

Our clients, an international young family, bought a Mayfair apartment as their London pied-à-terre, but we felt its layout and design could be more functional and exciting. Working with the challenges of a new build, such as low ceilings and lack of architectural features, we sought to inject personality through a calming palette of creamy plaster, soft metals, and natural materials like burr maple and limed oak. The design emphasised luxurious, tactile finishes, integrating functional yet artistic details such as bespoke storage, playful textures, and soothing materials throughout. A standout is the shelving unit that combines practicality and aesthetics, while the all-white bedroom was a design challenge, resulting in a serene yet layered space. Each area balances function, beauty, and a sense of sanctuary for the family in the heart of the city.
