Parkside Family Home

After living in their south-west London home for six years, our clients, a family with two young daughters, decided to undertake a full renovation, focusing on creating a space that reflected their long-term commitment to the house and area. The contemporary architecture, with its large windows and views of surrounding parks, needed an internal redesign to improve the flow, which we achieved by reconfiguring rooms and doorways. Open-plan living areas were balanced with smaller spaces for personal activities, and materials like pale oak floors, rich timbers, blackened steel, and green marble were used to create a harmonious, earthy palette throughout the home. The design incorporated bold, creative elements, including custom bookcases, vibrant artwork, and unique lighting, while the family, including the children, actively contributed to the process, resulting in a highly personalised, warm, and nurturing space that supports their creative and adventurous lifestyle.
