Position OverviewWe are looking for a passionate and driven Sales Consultant to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in delivering an inspiring retail experience, connecting customers with beautifully crafted pieces that transform their homes.

The ideal candidate is a thoughtful, service-oriented professional with a strong commercial mindset and a solid understanding of furniture and design. You will be instrumental in ensuring that every customer interaction is delightful, inspiring, and aligned with our commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Engagement: Provide a warm, welcoming experience for customers, guiding them in discovering our product offerings and tailoring recommendations to their needs.
  • Foster strong relationships with interior designers practices, understanding their needs and preferences, providing service and product recommendations, and invites to view our collection in store.
  • Efficiently process sales orders through Shopify and ensure all customer quotes and inquiries are responded to promptly and accurately.
  • Sales Expertise: Drive sales by understanding customer preferences, highlighting product benefits, and fostering long-term client relationships.
  • Specialise in custom and made-to-order enquiries, also handling a number of stock-based transactions.
  • Oversee and maintain the CRM pipeline, ensuring efficient and accurate management of customer relationships and data.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve sales targets, bringing strategic and innovative ideas to drive growth and enhance performance.
  • Brand Ambassador: Uphold and communicate the Sister by Studio Ashby brand ethos, delivering an elevated, design-led shopping experience.
  • Host client meetings and present new product launches, while also participating in all Sister events.
  • Represent Sister by Studio Ashby at any exhibitions or shows.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop an in-depth understanding of our collections, including materials, craftsmanship, and design inspiration, to educate customers with confidence.
  • Provide weekly updates to production on new orders and collaborate with our furniture designer on bespoke pieces.
  • Visual Merchandising: Support the presentation of the showroom, ensuring displays are well-maintained, and aligned with brand aesthetics.
  • Support the preparation of the showroom for events, layout updates, and photoshoots.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with stock organisation and ensure products are readily available for customers.
  • Maintain a complete and up-to-date inventory of samples and marketing materials at all times.
  • Collaboration: Work with our team to resolve any customer complaints and issues promptly, ensuring a positive and memorable experience at every interaction.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to meet and exceed sales targets while maintaining a supportive, positive workplace environment.
  • Operations: Handle showroom operations, including opening and closing duties, managing deliveries, and answering incoming calls professionally.
  • Coordinate the shipping of all in-stock items and high-value art pieces, ensuring secure and efficient delivery through our trusted shipping partners.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably within the luxury interiors sectors.
  • Passion for design, interiors, and craftsmanship with a keen eye for aesthetics.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with a diverse clientele.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Flexible and adaptable, able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Previous experience with Shopify is a plus but not essential.
