Sister was born in 2020, bringing Sophie Ashby’s curatorial eye and designer’s hand into a world of furniture, textiles, artworks and objects. Sister is a design brand with heart and soul. Collections of furniture are designed by Sophie and our team, and made to order by hand with our extended family of workshops and fabricators. In five years, Sister has established a cult following in the design industry as a brand of exceptional quality with a zest for life.
Fabrics
Each Sister fabric begins as a feeling. A fragment of travel, a sketch, a swatch collected somewhere unexpected. Designed by Sophie Ashby and brought to life in partnership with Yarn Collective, our collections are woven by hand using time-honoured techniques, in natural and recycled materials made to last.
